Introduction

The Shoreham Society is a registered charity working for the conservation of Shoreham’s historic architecture and the enhancement of the town’s environment by encouraging an enlightened approach to planning and related issues. Formed in 1984, it is non-political and free of all commercial interests.

An executive committee sets the society’s policies and strategy, which are based on consultation with the members. Committee meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month. A town planning sub-committee monitors local planning matters and advises the executive committee.

Come and see us in action ... Shoreham Society members are welcome as observers at meetings of the executive committee. Click here for details.

A regular journal keeps our members informed of all developments and activities, including forthcoming events.

If you live in Shoreham or have an interest in its unique and delightful character, join the Shoreham Society.
